The Process
Each Episealer implant and the surgical instruments are designed for each patient rather than forcing patients to fit the implant.
- MRI or CT scans are taken with our specific protocol and sent to us via our customer platform µiFidelity.
- The images are used to create a virtual 3D model of the joint, which is used in a Damage Marking Report where the defect is visualised.
- After the surgeon approves, Episurf produces an implant and instruments uniquely designed to treat the defect and restore the native anatomy.
