Episurf Medical (Nasdaq: EPIS B) today announces that the first surgery in India with the knee implant Episealer® has been scheduled.

India presents a unique opportunity to enter a vast market with the Episealer® technology. Episurf Medical has worked closely with Prof. Niek van Dijk and Prof. Doctor João Espregueira-Mendes who have aided in introducing local orthopaedic surgeons to the Episealer® technology. Both are advisors to Episurf Medical.
