Der Prozess
Jede Episealer Endoprothese und auch die chirurgischen Instrumente werden individualisiert für jeden Patienten hergestellt. Sie soll exakt dem Patienten passen und nicht umgekehrt (gelenkerhaltend).
- Zunächst werden MRT oder CT Aufnahmen gemacht um ein genaues Bild von Ihrem Gelenk zu erhalten.
- Diese Bilddaten werden dann für die Erstellung eines virtuellen 3D Modells ihres Gelenks verwendet, in dem die Schadensstelle abgebildet ist.
- Ihr Arzt wird alle Behandlungsoptionen mit Ihnen besprechen.
- Wenn Sie übereingekommen sind, dass der Episealer die beste Behandlungsoption für Sie ist, bestellt der Arzt bei Uns die Endoprothese und die Instrumente.
- Episurf wird dann Endoprothese und Instrumente herstellen. Individuell angefertigt, um Ihre Läsion (Gelenkschaden) zu versorgen und um Ihre ursprüngliche Anatomie wieder herzustellen.
